The clubs committee met last night Thursday 18th October to finalise a date for the AGM and discuss club training going forward through the early winter.
LCRC will hosts it's Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday, November 19th 2012 at the Springfield Hotel in Celbridge.
We would like to encourage full attendance by club members on the evening. Anyone that wishes to include an item on the agenda, you can do so by entering the details in the form below. Or by sending an email to the club secretary: email@example.com
Can all riders joining the beginner and intermediate spins please ensure that you carry the following kit:
2 x tubes
a pump (not cannisters)
tyre levers, money
Please ensure that tyres are inflated to 100 psi - this should be checked before the spin.
It is also advisable that you know how to change a tube.

Congratulations to our own Frank Billings who took silver in the national veteran hill climb championships yesterday. Frank finished 10th overall agains't some top class opposition. Well done Frank from all at LCRC we're all very proud of you
The first LCRC Turbo night was held at Endeavour Gym last Thursday night and got off to a flying start with 14 riders taking part.
There were a few technical issues with the sound which was over powered by the sound of all the turbo's, but I'm happy to say that we have now sorted out the sound situation and next week it will be much better and hooked up to the Gyms sound system.
For next Thursday, we will meet again at 8pm with hopefully an 8:15 start time. For anyone with Rollers rather than a turbo, please bring a desk lamp should you need to have more light around the wheels.
Below is a short video from the night.
Last nights circuit training class was a great success. 17 LCRC members took part in what was a tough and challenging workout. A big thank you to everyone that took part and for making it a great evening... even if it's hard for some of us to walk today!
Final prices are now calculated. There was a slight change in the numbers in each class and so based on the numbers attending (18 for the Circuit and 22 for the Turbo), we are able to offer the classes at €35 per person. So that's...
Circuit Training: €35 p/p for the 10 weeks (Full payment needs to be made on the first Tuesday night. Please have exact amount handy.)
classes will start on Tuesday 2nd October at 8:00pm
Turbo Classes: €35 p/p for the 10 weeks (Full payment needs to be made on the first Thursday night. Please have exact amount handy.)
Classes will start on Thursday 4th October at 8:00pm
For people that wish to take part in the Body Composition test, please can I ask that you get to the Gym early since these tests need to be performed before exercise.
Payment is due on the first night. So I'll be collecting at the Gym. Keep an eye out for me. Can I ask that you please have the exact amount ready incase I don't have change handy.
If you are attending both the Circuits and the Turbo nights, you can pay me the full amount (€70) on Tuesday if you wish. Otherwise I'll collect that on Thursday.
This is great value, and will do us the world of good.
How to find Endeavour Gym?
All classes will be held at Endeavour Gym which is located in the Fontill Retail Park.
